MILLENNIALS are more interested in learning about other cultures than older travelers are

Millennials like to get out of town. Two-thirds of all respondents said that they had traveled in the last six months — bravo! But when we looked at the results, respondents ages 18-34 were more likely to have taken a trip in the last week. You go, millennials! Social media allows users to share and repost things that interest them, and for millennials, it’s also a great source for travel inspiration. Overall, when it comes to booking a trip, 48 percent of people go to friends or family for recommendations. But those under 35 years old are more likely to be influenced by articles and videos on websites, as well as posts on social media.
