WELLNESS TIP: Lower Your Risk of Alzheimer’s Diseases. Nourish Brain. Eat Nuts, Greens, Fruits and Proteins
Alzheimer’s disease may not be just for grandparents to worry about: Groundbreaking new research from Northwestern University has found that amyloid protein — a hallmark of the devastating disease — starts accumulating in brain neurons of people as young as 20 years old.
Scientists believe this is the first time that such changes have been noted in human brains so young. In the study, lead researcher Changiz Geula and his team from the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and team analyzed neurons from the brains of 13 “normal” young people ages 20 to 66; 16 people ages 70 to 99 without dementia; and 21 people with Alzheimer’s, ages 60 to 95.
WELLNESS TIP: Mediterranean Diet is Good for your Heart. Eat Fruits, Veggies and Whole Grains
Researchers gathered data from 2,500 Greek adults age 18 and 89 from 2001 to 2012. Participants also provided a wealth of information on their lifestyle, medical history and dietary habits before the study began, five years into the research and again at the end of the study.
Participants’ adherence to the Med diet was scored on a 1 to 55 scale. Taking into account other factors that would affect risk, those who earned marks in the top third had a 47 percent lower chance of getting heart disease over the 10-year period compared to those who fell in the bottom third. Each one-point increase or decrease in the adherence score resulted in a roughly three percent fluctuation in heart disease risk.

WELLNESS TIP: No-Meat but Complete Source of Proteins for Vegetarians. Eat and Be Nourished
1. Quinoa
Protein: 8 grams per 1 cup serving, cooked
A food so healthy that NASA hopes we’ll grow it on interplanetary space flights, quinoa looks a lot like couscous, but it’s way more nutritious. Full of fiber, iron, magnesium, and manganese, quinoa is a terrific substitute for rice and it’s versatile enough to make muffins, fritters, cookies, and breakfast casseroles .
2. Buckwheat
Protein: 6 grams per 1 cup serving, cooked
Buckwheat is, in fact, not a type of wheat at all, but a relative of rhubarb. While the Japanese have turned the plant into funky noodles called soba, most cultures eat the seeds by either grinding them into flour (making a great base for gluten-free pancakes!) or cooking the hulled kernels, or “groats,” similarly to oatmeal. Buckwheat is crazy healthy: Some studies have shown that it may improve circulation, lower blood cholesterol and control blood glucose levels .
Go-to recipes:
Buckwheat Chili
Mushroom Buckwheat Risotto with Goat’s Curd
Roasted Spiced Pumpkin with Toasted Buckwheat
Soba Noodles with Peanut Dressing
3. Hempseed
Protein: 10 grams per 2 tablespoon serving
Chillax, bro, this hemp won’t get anyone stoned. This relative of the popular narcotic contains significant amounts of all nine essential amino acids, as well as plenty of magnesium, zinc, iron, and calcium. They’re also a rare vegan source of essential fatty acids, like omega-3s, which can help fight depression without the need to get high!
Go-to recipes:
Raw Pumpkin Hemp Seed Protein Bars
Lemon Hemp Seed Cookies
Gluten-Free Pizza with Hemp Seed Pesto
Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie with Hemp Seeds

4. Chia
Protein: 4 grams per 2 tablespoon serving
No longer used to grow fur on boring clay animals, chia seeds are the highest plant source of omega-3 fatty acids, and they contain more fiber than flax seeds or nuts. Chia is also a powerhouse of iron, calcium, zinc, and antioxidants, but the best thing about these little seeds is that they form a goopy gel when combined with milk or water. This makes them fantastic for making healthy puddings, thickening smoothies, or replacing eggs in vegan baking.
Go-to recipes:
Coconut Chia Pudding
Pear and Chia Whole Wheat Pancakes
Chia Vegan Protein Muffins
Spicy Roasted Cauliflower with Chia Seeds
5. Soy
Protein: 10 grams per ½ cup serving (firm tofu)
15 grams per ½ cup serving (tempeh)
15 grams per ½ cup serving (natto)
While beans are normally low in the amino acid methionine, soy is a complete protein and thoroughly deserves its status as the go-to substitute for the meat-free (but go easy on the processed varieties). Tempeh and natto are made by fermenting the beans, but tofu is probably the best known soy product. If protein’s a concern, it’s important to choose the firmest tofu available—the harder the tofu, the higher the protein content.
Go-to recipes:
Beer-Marinated Tofu
Orange Pan-Glazed Tempeh
Noodles and Natto
Soy Bean and Napa Cabbage Salad
6. Mycoprotein (Quorn)
Protein: 13 grams per ½ cup serving
Originally developed to combat global food shortages, mycoprotein is sold under the name “Quorn” and is made by growing a certain kind of fungus in vats and turning it into meat substitutes that are packed with complete protein. Admittedly, it’s a little weird-sounding, but mycoprotein is sometimes considered part of the mushroom family, and while there are some allergen concerns, only one in 146,000 people experience adverse reactions. To the rest, it’s pretty darn tasty. Since it’s usually bound together with free range egg whites, Quorn is not technically vegan-friendly, but the company does have some vegan products.
Go-to recipes:
Quorn-Stuffed Roasted Peppers
Mediterranean Vegetable and Quorn Puff Pie
Quorn Samosas
Quorn Lasagna

7. Rice and Beans
Protein: 7 grams per 1 cup serving
One of the simplest, cheapest, and vegan-est meals in existence is also one of the best sources of protein around. Most beans are low in methionine and high in lysine, while rice is low in lysine and high in methionine. Put ‘em together, and whaddaya got? Protein content on par with that of meat. Subbing lentils or chickpeas for beans produces the same effect. These meals are a great way to load up on protein and carbohydrates after an intense workout.
Go-to Recipes:
Mango Salsa Black Beans and Coconut Rice
Hot and Smoky New Orleans Red Beans and Rice
Palestinian Lentils and Rice
Indian Chickpea Stew with Brown Rice
8. Ezekiel Bread
Protein: 8 grams per 2 slice serving
“Take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, put them in one vessel and make them into bread for yourself.” This fragment of Ezekiel 4:9, while initially intended to help a besieged Jerusalem make bread when supplies were low, turned out to be a recipe for an extraordinarily nutritious loaf that contains all of the essential amino acids. It’s also usually made from sprouted grains, a process which significantly increases the bread’s fiber and vitamin content, as well as its digestibility .
Go-to recipes:
Ezekiel Bread from Scratch (Note: Requires a flour grinder)
Ezekiel Bread Pizzas
Ezekiel Flour Pumpkin Muffins
Ezekiel Pasta with Lemon, White Wine, and Caper Sauce
9. Seitan
Protein: 21 grams per 1/3 cup serving
Wheat gluten gets demonized by a lot of people these days, but with the obvious exceptions of celiac-sufferers and the gluten intolerant, it’s nothing to be afraid of. First created more than a thousand years ago as a meat substitute for Chinese Buddhist monks, seitan is made by mixing gluten (the protein in wheat) with herbs and spices, hydrating it with water or stock, and simmering it in broth. But this one’s not complete on it’s own—it needs to be cooked in a soy sauce-rich broth to add gluten’s missing amino acid (lysine) to the chewy, very meat-like final product.
10. Hummus and Pita
Protein: 7 grams per 1 whole-wheat pita and 2 tablespoons of hummus
The protein in wheat is pretty similar to that of rice, in that it’s only deficient in lysine. But chickpeas have plenty of lysine, giving us all the more reason to tuck into that Middle Eastern staple: hummus and pita. Chickpeas have a pretty similar amino acid profile to most legumes, so don’t’ be afraid to experiment with hummus made from cannellini, edamame, or other kinds of beans.
11. Spirulina with Grains or Nuts
Protein: 4 grams per 1 tablespoon
Contrary to popular belief, this member of the algae family is not a complete protein, since it’s lacking in methionine and cysteine . All that’s needed to remedy this is to add something with plenty of these amino acids, such as grains, oats, nuts, or seeds (Check out the recipes below for more suggestions.).
12. Peanut Butter Sandwich
Protein: 15 grams per 2-slice sandwich with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
See how easy this is? Every time legumes like beans, lentils, and peanuts are combined with grains like wheat, rice, and corn, a complete protein is born. Peanut butter on whole wheat is an easy snack that, while pretty high in calories, provides a heaping dose of all the essential amino acids and plenty of healthy fats to boot.
WELLNESS TIP: Dairy-Free Sources of Calcium. All Natural. Eat and Be Nourished
1. White Beans: 191 mg (19% DV) in 1 cup canned
Creamy and light, these legumes are a great source of calcium and iron . Add them to a pasta dish with veggies, or skip the chickpeas and make your own hummus with white beans.
2. Salmon: 232 mg (23% DV) in ½ can with bones (which provides the calcium!)
3. Sardines: 321 mg (32% DV) in about 7 sardines fillets
There’s nothing fishy about sardines—they are one of the healthiest fish to munch on! Along with calcium, they also provide a hefty dose of omega 3’s and vitamin
4. Dried Figs: 107 mg (10% DV) in 8 whole dried figs
For a sweet treat, this dried fruit packs an antioxidant, fiber, and calcium punch . Eat them as a mid-day snack, or turn these delicious dried fruits into a creamy jam.
5. Bok Choy: 74 mg (7% DV) in 1 cup
This versatile Chinese cabbage provides a hefty dose of vitamins A and C, along with calcium and fiber. Stir-fry bok choy with garlic and olive oil for a perfect side dish.
6. Blackstrap Molasses: 172 mg (17% DV) in 1 tablespoon
When the sweet tooth strikes, it’s best to go natural. Blackstrap molasses is darker in color and richer in flavor than regular molasses, and is filled with calcium, iron, and other vitamins. Plus, it’s a great sweet and flavorful addition to many dishes. Drizzle some on pancakes, or use it to make brown sugar.
7. Kale: 188 mg (19% DV) in 2 cups raw (chopped)
This superfood is filled with calcium and antioxidants, and is perfect to use as the base of any salad when shredded into thin strips. A kale salad with apricots and avocado is a perfect springtime dish.
8. Black-eyed Peas: 185 mg (18% DV) in 1/2 cup canned
I gotta feeling this is not just a band. These beans are filled with calcium, potassium, folate, and more! Skip the fat-filled mayo and whip up this black-eyed pea spread to pump up any sandwich or appetizer.
9. Almonds: 72 mg (7% DV) in ¼ cup dry roasted (about 20 nuts)
You’re "nuts" if you don’t grab a handful of almonds every now and then! They’re the most nutritionally dense nut, packing a crazy amounts of nutrients per calorie and ounce. Aside from calcium, they also contain potassium, vitamin E, and iron. Sprinkle on a salad or make your own almond butter. Just watch out for portion size!
10. Oranges: 65 mg (6% DV) in 1 medium fruit
Orange-you glad we included oranges?! Full of vitamin C and calcium, enjoy this fruit as a mid-morning snack, or use its citrus flavor to brighten up any dish, like these honey-orange carrots.
11. Turnip Greens: 197 mg (20% DV) in 1 cup cooked (chopped)
This leafy green comes from turnip bulbs, and is filled with calcium, antioxidants, and folate, which could help improve mood. Sautee them as a side dish, or spice things up and make a turnip tart.
12. Sesame Seeds: 88 mg (9% DV) in 1 tablespoon
These unassuming seeds are more than just a hamburger bun decoration. Sesame seeds can help lower blood pressure, reduce inflammation, and may even fight against certain cancers. Use their nutty crunch in a salad, or add to this sautéed spinach dish.
13. Seaweed: 126 mg (13% DV) in about 1 cup raw
Fish aren’t the only, well, fish in the sea. Seaweed is full of calcium, fiber, and iodine, which helps with proper thyroid function . Bring a bowl of risotto up a notch with this seaweed recipe. Feel like keeping it classic? Try your hand at a classic miso soup.
14. Instant Oatmeal: 187 mg (19% DV) in 1 cup
Many cereals and grains are now fortified, including our favorite morning breakfast. And while the instant kind doesn’t boast the same benefits as old-fashioned rolled oats, they’re a quick breakfast option that’s full of fiber and calcium. Just choose the kinds without added sugar.
15. Orange Juice: 500 mg (50% DV) in 1 cup
In moderation, fruit juice is a perfect pairing for morning pancakes or eggs! Enjoy a tall glass for calcium and vitamin C, or pour over a salmon fillet.
16. Soymilk: 300 mg (30% DV) in 1 cup
Cows milk not your cup of tea? Soymilk is a great option for people who are lactose intolerant and contains more protein than regular milk. Pour in a morning bowl of cereal or add to coffee with some cinnamon.
17. Firm Tofu: 861 mg (86% DV) in ½ cup
We know what you’re thinking: What exactly is tofu? This meaty textured vegetarian alternative is actually made of dried soybeans that have been grounded up and boiled. It’s a great way to add lots of protein, little fat, and (of course) calcium to any meal! What’s on the dinner table tonight? Try this caramelized tofu.

Wellness Tip in Your 20s: Start your nest egg, no matter how small
“A lot of times [20-somethings] like to spend and then save what’s left over,” says Daniel Wrenne, a CFP® with Wrenne Financial Planning. “You have to acknowledge that you have to save first—otherwise you’re not going to do it.”
Wellness Tip in Your 30s: Spend for the life you have, not the life you want
Inflate your savings instead of your lifestyle. “If you see the money in your checking account, you end up buying the nicer towels, the nicer car—things that, in the long term, you won’t have much to show for”
Wellness Tip in Your 40s: Build a new plan going forward and monitor your progress
“Usually the 40s is when people realize that they’re either doing pretty good—or they’re way behind and start to get freaked out”
But that’s still better than keeping your head in the sand. “Once you’ve admitted to yourself that you need to work on your retirement strategy, ask yourself: What do I need to change? Where can I make improvements?” “Then you can build a new plan going forward and monitor your progress.”
http://www.learnvest.com/2015/01/building-money-confidence-by-age/3/
Wellness Tip in Your 50s: Don’t get trapped into retirement as an escape from your job.
Instead, calculate how your retirement income might change based on several age scenarios—and remember that working is still a possibility. Practice” your retirement. Sometimes the idea of retirement is more romantic than the reality. You may think that beachside cottage is for you, but if you’re used to the hustle and bustle of a busy 9-to-5, will you enjoy that investment?
Before you decide how you want to spend your golden years, visit the places you’re thinking of moving to, as well as the activities you plan to pursue. How will you spend your time? How will you spend your money? Can you live a simpler life—or do you need your creature comforts?

MILLENNIALS / GEN Y: Denmark is world's most connected country: study
Denmark has overtaken South Korea as the world's top country for cellphone and Internet use, a study released Monday said.
In third place was Sweden, followed by Iceland and Britain, emphasising European dominance in the connectivity stakes, according to the International Telecommunication Union, a leading analyst for information and communication technologies, or ICTs.
Hong Kong led Asia, in ninth place in the world rankings, and the United States came 14th. The Central African Republic was last, part of a long list of African countries bringing up the tail of the list.
The International Telecommunications Union's ICT development index takes into account Internet and mobile phone access and use, and the population's competence with the technology.
"Over three billion people are now online and information and communication technology growth remains buoyant in just about every country worldwide," the report said.
Developing countries are well behind, but catching up, with Internet usage in 2014 growing 8.7 percent, compared to 3.3 percent in the richer nations.
However, of the 4.3 billion people still unconnected, 90 percent of them are in developing countries, the study found.
That should change, according to the organisers.
"ICTs have the potential to make the world a much better place -- in particular for those who are the poorest and the most disenfranchised, including women, youth, and those with disabilities," said the Telecommunications Union secretary general, Hamadoun Toure.

TIP: Gratitude Encourages Patience, Self-Control & Forward-Focused Outlook when it comes to your money
That’s according to some interesting research from professors at Northeastern University, the University of California Riverside and Harvard University. In their study, 75 participants were assigned to one of three groups: The first was asked to spend five minutes writing about an experience that made them feel grateful, the second was tasked with writing about something that left them feeling happy, and the third was asked to focus on the events of a typical day. Next, they were asked to make a series of choices that would either result in receiving an amount of cash immediately or a greater sum in the future. Those in a happy or neutral mood opted for instant gratification: On average, they required $55 up front to forgo receiving $85 in three months. However, the grateful group exhibited significantly more patience and self-control, needing $63 to give up future gain—a 12% difference over the other groups. http://www.learnvest.com/2014/11/how-to-be-better-at-saving-money/
Stress Management: Prioritize Invitations. Attend Only to the Events you Really Want to
Try to make the holidays less about how the songs and decorations are telling you to feel.”“People can get depressed around the holidays, especially those who have specific feelings attached to [the time of year],” explains Goldstein. “If you are not feeling like spreading ‘joy to the world,’ you might end up even more depressed because you couldn’t rise to the occasion.”
How to Keep It in Check Instead of forcing your holidays to fit a certain stereotype, try to enjoy the days as they come. This is particularly important when you get overtaxed socially—listen to what your body and mind are telling you, and try to find moments of peace when you get overwhelmed.
“Holidays are a time to rest, relax and take time off from work to spend with family and friends,”
“Implement daily self-care when your to-do list gets long. Don’t sacrifice working out for errands. Remember to eat healthfully and don’t skip meals.”
And although ’tis the season for giving, it’s O.K. to sometimes say no if it means saving your sanity. http://www.learnvest.com/2014/11/holiday-stress-management-tips/4/
TIP: For Health Reasons, Do not Over Eat during Parties this Holiday Season
Just because the season of plenty has arrived doesn’t mean you can throw your healthy sensibilities out the window.“One trick to not overeating at a holiday party is to have a healthy meal before you go, so that you’re full and won’t be tempted to overindulge,” Also, using small plates or napkins to snack instead of larger plates [can help]. If you want to taste everything, remember to take small portions—and no seconds.”

TIP: Turn On "SAFE SEARCH" in Google to Help Remove Explicit Materials, Pictures and Words
Make this SAFE SEARCH your Homepage: click: http://www.safesearchkids.com/
Safe Search for Kids is the child friendly search engine where safe search is always ‘on’.
The safe browsing feature on this website overrides your computer search settings to help remove potentially explicit material when searching Google. No changes are made to your computer or your browser settings. Safe search happens automatically and is powered by Google.
When you make Safe Search Kids your home page, or at the very least bookmark it for kids to use from within any browser, you can be sure that strict filtering, as determined by Google, is always active. Using our search tool at the top of this page also works for schools to ensure safety on every computer in your school. This is important for those educational institutions who do not have internet filtering software on their school server. It also provides a fun and colorful environment for kids to search the internet using any chosen browser.
By no means does using this site do away with basic common sense about online safety. This isn’t the same world it was even 15 years ago. You don’t even need a computer to go online! Kids can connect on hand held devices including a tablet, digital reader or video game system. Technology is consistently evolving. The internet is a regular part of your child’s daily life and routine. So how can you keep children safe online?
Parental Controls
Just about every device includes the ability to block, restrict, limit, or allow access to various features using a pin or password. The weakest parental control features are usually sufficient for younger children, yet most teenagers can easily bypass the best parental control features to access restricted content. So it’s very important that parents don’t treat Google safe search as a babysitter. It is simply an additional tool to assist those overseeing the supervision of kids, including teachers. For complete filtering you should explore internet filtering software which also provide anti-virus protection.
There may be many threats out there, but the most common problem with children and the internet is actually when kids spend too much time online. Too much screen time, period, is unhealthy. So the best “parental controls” are to restrict the total time spend each day on the computer, video games, or watching TV. After that, become familiar with the threats and the opportunities where threats may present themselves. From filtering search engines (to filter inappropriate results) to monitoring social interaction online, the best approach to internet safety is to stay positive and proactive.
This website does not replace parental or teacher supervision. No safe search engine is perfect, so you may want to consider additional protection with security software beyond this free internet filter. Much of internet safety is about common sense. Having an open conversation with kids is important to setting up agreed upon guidelines when accessing in the internet. The older kids get, the more responsibility they earn and greater freedoms are given online, including the implementation of safe online research for school using tools such as Wikipedia for Kids. This of course does not mean that parental supervision goes by the way side. No search filtering tool or software security program can replace safe controls and practices online, no matter the age of the user.
Unfortunately, many kids are left unattended to browse the internet as they see fit. This often can because parents and guardians have wishful thinking about what kind of troubles awaiting anyone who connects to the internet. There can be the mentality that “it won’t happen to my kids” that offers up a false sense of security.
From viewing harmful material through a search engine results, to protecting kids on social media, proactive vigilance and ‘fail safes’ are necessary to make sure children and teens are not lead down a path to unsafe and unsecured practices online.
Kids safe search News of the world 15 Years Google safe search Pictures Online
Safe Search Online Course Windows explorer replacement Webinar best practices
Google Safe Browsing for Kids
Part of embracing technology as an important part of this generation is accepting that (a) there may be threats but (b) that’s not all the internet is! Google safe search filtering is only a start to protecting kids online.
Your parents used to worry about you talking to strangers, or walking home from school. The world was different, but there are always things for parents to worry about when it comes to their children. With proper supervision and guidance, the internet can be a safe place full of learning and opportunity for all ages.
In a nutshell, you should be aware. You should be educated. You should not be worried as long as you do your part. Children under 13 should never use the internet without adult supervision. Teens should have strict rules regarding social media and internet usage. Parents should monitor how teens are using social media and revoke access to the privilege of internet use if it is being abused.
Internet Safety Strategies: Here are are few of our articles that deal with internet safety for everyone concerned, including kids themselves, parents and teachers:
Normally, to turn on safe search you need to make changes within the preferences of Google’s search setting. From within these preferences, you will find three search filtering levels: Off / Moderate / Strict. The default security settings on Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox browsers are moderate (or mid-level) which does not filter out most inappropriate images from search results. However, Safe Search for Kids is designed to over ride default browser settings to provide ‘strict search filtering’ and prevent inappropriate images, as well as text, from displaying in results.
You can also lock Google Safe Search on your computer if you have a Google account, such as Gmail. Once safe search is locked within your browser, no one but yourself can turn it off. It’s a little more involved than just changing the browser preferences. To be clear, searches conducted from this page ensure filtered results.
In regards to kids internet safety, another important factor to consider is the use of multiple browsers. Increasing search filtering within the preferences on Internet Explorer will not implement those changes in Chrome, Firefox or Safari. This is another benefit to make our site your home page, because regardless of your browser or operating platform, using Safe Search Kids will ensure strict Google filtering is always activated. We also remove images from appearing beside text search results, no matter how innocent, as an added precaution.
About Filtering Search Results: Safe search filters out explicit material and blocks profane words. It does not however filter out neutral words or educational material on certain matters that may not be suitable for young children. The goal is to hinder kids from accidentally stumbling across illicit material. We cannot guarantee that suggestive material will not show up in search results. It simply allows kids to safely surf the web with a much lower risk of accidentally seeing illicit material.

More than Words: Convey Your Message in Your Meetings & Conversations. Learn how
Dr. Albert Mehrabian is known for his breakdown of human communication into 7 percent spoken words, 38 percent tone of voice, and 55 percent body language. While some disagree on those numbers, all agree nonverbal communication dominates verbal.
Understanding non-verbal communication is crucial for the entrepreneur. Your life and business are dependent upon successful communication with others. The inability to interpret a client’s body language could mean making an offer that’s not only premature, but potentially offensive.
Related: Develop the Body Language of a Leader With These 5 Exercises
Here are the key areas of body language, from head to toe, based off the work of Dr. Marvin Karlins and Joe Navarro, to pay attention to during your next important meeting.
Negative facial expressions (nervousness, dislike, stress, and contempt):
Furrowed forehead.
Nose crinkle.
Eyelid flutter.
lips pursing.
jaw moving to the side.
repeated touching of the nose or eyelid.
a smirk, corner of the lip raised.
looking in a different direction while verbally responding.
Positive facial expressions:
Consistent eye contact.
Raised eyebrows.
A perked head position, nodding in agreement.
A head tilt to the side is a submissive signal, exposing the throat and neck; it conveys inquisitiveness and interest.
Negative torso expressions:
Shoulders slowly rising and turned inward shows a lack of confidence in what's presented, and a sense of discomfort.
The “Lint-Picker,” looking down and performing an irrelevant action i.e. picking imaginary lint, is a sign of disapproval and dismissal.
Positive torso expressions:
A ventral exposure—leaning inward is a positive sign of interest.
An upright, but not stiff open chest that parallels the other person is a sign of congruence and agreement.
Related: 17 Tactics for Reading People's Body Language
Negative arm expressions:
Placed behind the back is a regal stance of authority and wanting distance.
Arms across chest in any way is an expression of concern and threat.
A noticeable freeze, stiffness, complete lack of arm movement, is an attempt to conceal, to deflect, and avoid attention.
Positive arm expressions:
Arms at the waist, or slightly tucked into pockets with thumbs pointing forward is an inquisitive and interested stance.

Read the Bible to Get Financial Advice and Guidelines on Money Management
1 Timothy 6:9-11
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
We often hear “Money is the root of all evil” but we forget the phrase from the verse, “the love of money” and its true context. Money could be the root of all evil but more so of the lack of it. Many people are trapped into the temptation of excessive money and lavish lifestyle, more than what really one needs. With that, people get the impression that money is always bad – it’s not. Money should be an instrument to give you and your family a good life and help other people to feel the same way.
Proverbs 3:9-10
“Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first of all your produce”
This means a proper allocation of your wealth. Obligate a portion for your needs, a portion for your savings and most importantly commit a tenth of your income to the Church or your place of worship. Also, it is said that the more money you make, the more you should give. The more spend on yourself, the more you should give for charity.
Proverbs 13:11
“Wealth obtained by fraud dwindles, but the one who gathers by labor increases it.”
If you get money from gambling, fraud and taking advantage others, you will suffer; but will be blessed if you get money out of your hard work. It is important to understand that lying, cheating and taking advantage of people are not good income channels but honest and hard work will lead to unconsciously increasing wealth.
Proverbs 21:5
“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.”
Careful planning is also important to building your wealth – it leads to prosperity. If you prosper financially, you have the bigger responsibility of teaching people how to fish, and later on prosper with you. It is clear that planning is essential to be able to reach your goal, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.Source and Credit: Financial Advices We Learn from the Bible - Yahoo She Philippines:

Be Mindful of Your Partner's Reactions & Emotions in Your Posts to Facebook, etc to Avoid Damaging Your Relationship
Heavy Twitter use bad for marriage: study - Yahoo She Philippines: "Heavy Twitter use can lead to conflicts and other damaging effects on marriages and romantic relationships, a study said Thursday.
The study followed up on previous research which showed similar impacts for Facebook and raises questions about whether social network use in general is bad for relationships.
The study appearing in the journal Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking found that "active Twitter use leads to greater amounts of Twitter-related conflict among romantic partners, which in turn leads to infidelity, breakup, and divorce."
The author, University of Missouri doctoral researcher Russell Clayton, concluded that these findings add to the evidence about social network use's dark side for personal relationships.
Clayton's research published in the same journal last year found that a high level of Facebook usage was associated with "negative relationship outcomes."
The journal's editor-in-chief Brenda Wiederhold said these findings highlight the need for more study on social network use."
