PEACE VIGIL

Let's Pray for One Another
Let's PRAY FOR PEACE daily every 12:00 noon

PRAYER FOR PEACE

“God bless your day whatever your mood maybe
May the angels guide you and protect you from harm.
If you are travelling, may you find the road and arrive at your destination safely.
If trouble comes along the way, may it turn into blessings favorable to all!
May you meet new friends and may the old ones stay.
May the love of our Divine Creator fill your emptiness
and may you feel it in the vastness of the universe!
If you get so tired today, may you find time to look up the sky,
feel the air, recharge and rejuvenate!
And in all the things you did today, may your faith increase.
May you be inspired by the diversity of people’s personalities
and be grateful that you were granted the chance to lead them…
…and at the end of the day tonight, as your rest,
may you be thankful for all the blessings that this day had…
and pray to forgive those who offended you. AMEN!”

Thank you for sharing a powerful prayer!

Be open to change because all sufferings comes from resistance to change. Then, be with people who share the same path as you to further develop yourself

"Learning is an evolutionary process, which means we must become more of who we are in each moment by learning new information, tools and approaches towards life. All suffering comes from resistance to change. A willingness to learn is a willingness to grow. I find it helpful to keep a list of things I am actively learning, and create a strategy for how I am going to learn those things (keeping a simple notepad and pen handy is great). I like to schedule my learning time into my day, and then track my progress. Online courses are great for this kind of thing, and there is so much more out there you can learn from.

Find Conscious Community To Surround Yourself With

Find other people who share your same interests, pursuits and values. The easiest way to grow is to grow with others who are on the same path as you, and in order to find this, you need to find your community and develop your own path. Get out in the World and reach out! You’ll be amazed at how many people there are like you around you.

Constantly Improve Your Diet, Be Open to New Exercise Routine & Let Go Of Clutter, Chaos & Old Stuff

Be open to exploring various healthful diets that truly work for you, and be open to new things, as technology is exponentially enhancing the world of nutrition. The same is true for exercise! Amongst YouTube, Instagram & Social Media, we are evolving our world of nutritional and fitness education at light speeds faster than ever before. Constantly improving yourself is one of the most common principles of Awakening and diet and exercise are at the top of this list.

Let Go Of Clutter, Chaos & Old Stuff

Clutter and chaos is not rebellious and it’s not sexy. It’s sloppy and a sign of lack of true self-care and awareness. I know it takes a lot to maintain our rapid modern lives, but the tighter, cleaner and more organized you keep things, the better results you’ll have with your ambitions, I promise. Old stuff needs to go! Physical objects with high emotional attachment can hold a lot of our emotional energy.

Our stuff can be a physical representation of clinging to the past, and letting go of old things means we open up for new opportunities, clarity, gifts and miracles from the Universe.

Leave Behind Unhealthy, Toxic & Stuck Relationships. Do not Force them to Change, Let Change Come to them while You Take Care of Yourself

"Scientifically speaking, you become the five people you spend the majority of your time with. It’s up to you to be very discerning, careful and calculated about who you allow those five people to be. If you have friends in your life who seem stuck, definitely help and support them, but if they are truly unwilling to grow, maybe it’s time to move on (Editor's Note: or the best term for that is to level-up!) Having support is everything to achieve your goals, and you have the opportunity to create healthy relationships everyday. Remember you can stay in touch with people you care about, but don’t force change on anyone, let it come to them. In meantime, do what you need to do to care for yourself.

We must create healthy relationships with our parents and family. Re-frame the past and you can create a limitless future

We often like to say that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have, and no matter who your parents were/are, this applies. Be willing to initiate the tough conversations of healing this old stuff and apologize where self responsibility is needed. How can you bring forgiveness to these past moments and the relationships forged during your upbringing? You created your experiences, so it’s up to you to take ownership for them. They were created for your personal growth spiritually and as a human being on the planet at this point in time and the more you resist them, the further you push and deny the personal empowerment available to you from the lessons of these experiences.

One innovative way to deal with depressing issues & conflicts in the country & elsewhere all over the world is to pray for it!

Prayer is the same as lobbying, only that we do not ask for human intervention but for Divine intervention -- to give justice where justice is due and to allow peace to come as soon as possible :-) Prayer is Positive Activism, even w/o political rallies because it can be done even in the comfort of our homes, schools, offices, workplaces and communities :-) World history proves that Powerful Prayers won wars, placed virtuous leaders and removed obsessive rulers --- and prayers even mediated warring states for peace :-) So not unless our job requires us to meddle in political affairs because our profession requires us to do, then go! Otherwise, why worry when we can always Pray for Peace :-) :-)

HOW DOES PEACE INNOVATION WORK?

It works outside the box of our stereotypes, meaning, we work for peace by discipline of the self to keep the peace within and share it to others for nation building. :-) How? we keep our work values, we follow the rules, we respect people in authority, we keep our personal virtues at home, schools, workplaces & communities to protect our peace within :-) Now it is hard to keep the peace within when we see the injustices going on outside of our self, that is where we apply the "Discipline of Wellness" where we "nourish and detox" our mind, body and spirit :-) But we cannot be well, not until we are have Awareness (Awake) and after being awake that is the time that we can be Mindful of the things that is going on :-) To be aware is to see the current situation in the bigger picture, not only in the Philippines but elsewhere all over the world. To my analysis, I see that everything is "going back to the basics". Our country and the world, the society in general goes back to the time of survival of the fittest in order to cope up with the effects of climate change, as we see the propagation of terrorism, the disrespect for human rights, the massive migration, the sporadic war on culture & faith, the extent of food insecurity, the arrival of new viruses that are difficult to treat by antibiotics, etc, etc. We are repeating history in a different form but in exact format, people fight one another due to some kind of heroism or ideals of how human should be treated. Okay, this is so long, sorry for making you read :-) Anyway. so what do we do, in summary, "Give to Ceasar what is due to Ceasar; and give to God what is due to God. That is to my analysis, be obedient to the ruler, but do not forget God, pray diligently always so that God will give justice to the ruler. If the leader is just and fair, God will reward him; but if he is abusive, God will remove him from the post to protect the people :-) And, as Peace Leaders, where the model is Christ as the Prince of Peace (but not necessarily making Christ as God to respect other religions especially Islam, but of course for Christians, Jesus is Lord, that is already given)..... we continuously propagate the virtues of faith, hope and love wherever we are at home, schools, workplaces and communities. We do not oppose but we recommend solutions to the problems and we never stop teaching values while we do the recommendations peacefully and we never stop making the follow ups not in rallies but in personal peaceful meetings and constant peaceful prayer gatherings through Interfaith, Intercultural, Interracial Prayers for Peace

Sunlight reinforces the auric field. It has the same effect as exercise. Clean air vitalizes the aura. Eating smaller amounts of food, but more frequent, brings balance effect on the aura. Maintaining a clean intestine helps to preserve the aura strong and durable. Meditation also acts as a protection to the aura.

But you should not overdo these practices. The right measure in all things, is the most useful thing in maintaining a vibrant aura. Proper diet, exercise and clean air will strengthen the overall auric field. On the other hand lack of exercise, lack of fresh air, inadequate nutrition, addiction to alcohol, drugs, tobacco and other produces wear and tear in the fibers of the aura. Furthermore, the aura is too heavily influenced by emotional and mental states – many more than people realize it. Prolonged stress, emotional trauma, mental imbalances and stress, abrupt changes, worries, fear and other negative emotions and attitudes weaken the auric field. The result of a weakened aura is the loss of energy. If this continues, in the fibers of your auric field can appear holes and tears. This will begin to manifest as physical health problems, and other imbalances. Not strong enough aura has holes and dark areas in an unbalanced and weakened form.

How Do You Increase Your Spiritual Wellness?

1. “Take 10” at work.

There was a time when all work stopped at scheduled times of the day, just for prayer. Those who actively practice a religion will still halt their work and bow their heads. If you want to be more spiritual – not necessarily religious – schedule some “quiet time” at work. Set an alarm for a specific time of day.

Take 10 minutes off work to relax and reflect. Leave your cubicle if you can, take a walk, settle somewhere that will feel less confined and would be more conducive to contemplation. If there’s a quiet place, surrounded by nature, with some sun, this will be ideal.

2. Meditate.

Meditation is your best tool for self-awareness. It is a method by which you survey what is happening inside yourself (thoughts, emotions, moral dilemma), and what is happening outside yourself (present circumstances, action by others and its direct impact on you).

Meditation promotes discernment. You get a clearer sense of right and wrong, and this aids you in decision-making. Meditation also assists in managing stress and anxiety, even depression and sleep-deprivation. Study the methods of meditation. Keep calm and carry on.

3. Go on a retreat.

Sometimes you really do have to take a significant block of time away from your daily activities to stabilize yourself. There are places specifically designed to keep out distractions and give you the space to reflect, meditate, rest.

Depending on the retreat, it could also be holistic – from the food you eat, to the exercise you practice, to the people you speak with (such as a counselor or spiritual adviser) or choose not to speak with, in a temporary vow of silence, as the case may be.

4. Visit a “sacred” place.

A sacred place may be sacred in terms of religion, or it could be secular but sacred to you alone – a place of deep significance because of its connection with your past or its associations with a specific memory or experience or person.

Visiting this place will enrich you, it will also re-connect you with your former self, and it may trigger a sense of closure or renewal, or both.

5. Make room for gratitude.

It is always good to show appreciation. Gratitude allows for unexplained phenomena, such as random acts of kindness, or fateful events. If you are grateful, you do not take anything for granted: each day becomes imbued with meaning, each gesture has significance. You are driven to become more purposeful and deliberate.

Being thankful for the so-called blessings in life is also a way of being humble. Humility brings home the notion that we are not alone, that our destiny may be shaped by us but it is interconnected with that of others.

4 Stages Of Life According to Carl Jung

1. ) THE ATHLETE

The athlete is the phase in our lives when we are at our most self-absorbed. There are people in our lives that have never made it out of this phase, or often revert back to it. Of the 4 stages, it tends to be the least mature.

It is characterized by being obsessed with our physical bodies and appearance. For an example of the athlete phase, watch teenagers walk past a mirror. The athlete phase can be narcissistic, critical, or even both.

2.) THE WARRIOR

Moving forward in our lives, we reach the warrior phase. This is where we begin to take on responsibilities and get the desire to conquer the world. Well, maybe not the world for some of us, but this is when we become more goal oriented. All of the sudden we can see objectives that we want to accomplish and the vanity of the athlete phase begins to fade.

The warrior phase is really characterized by the struggles in our lives that early adulthood can throw at us. The warrior phase is also the most common phase that people revert back to throughout their lives as they “re-invent” themselves.

3.) THE STATEMENT

When the warrior phase in our lives is coming to an end, we find ourselves asking: “what have I done for others?” Your focuses shift from your personal achievements to accomplishing goals based on forwarding other people’s lives. This stage is often correlated to parenting, because your focus becomes providing a better life for your children, and what it is you need to do that. The statement phase for many people is much more than a correlation to parenting, and more about leaving a legacy or a footprint in life.

The statement phase is a time to reflect on what you have accomplished, and how you can continue moving forward – not just for you, but for the other people in your life. As far as maturity goes, the statement phase is a huge step forward from even the warrior phase.

4.) THE SPIRIT

The final stage of life is the spirit stage. In this stage, we realize that we are more than what we have accumulated – be it money, friends, possessions, good deeds, or milestones in life. We are spiritual beings. We realize that we are divine beings in a journey of life that has no real beginning and no end.

The spirit phase is characterized by a sense of “getting out of your own mind” and focusing on what is waiting for us beyond our physical beings. The philosopher Lao Tzu proposed a question over 2500 years ago that perfectly describes the spirit phase: “Can you step back from your own mind and thus understand all things? Giving birth and nourishing, having without possessing, acting with no expectations, leading and not trying to control: this is the supreme virtue.”

1. EXERCISE

The exercise of every kind raises the levels of dopamine, serotonin, and endorphin. Regular exercise provides happiness, strengthens the body, reduces stress.

2. AVOID ADDICTIONS

Addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, and even shopping, provide an instant pleasure, but it is not a permanent solution. Addictions only temporarily satisfy our needs.

Moreover, addictions alter our lifestyle in favor of the source of the addiction, and it is a wicked cycle. Therefore, you should try and lower the risk of developing addictions, enjoy life, and find things that provide deeper calmness and happiness. Also, it is of great importance to work a job you enjoy.

3. DETOXIFICATION

Make sure you regularly detoxify your system, as the accumulation of toxins and bacteria in the body prevents the dopamine production and weakens the immunity.

4. INCREASE TYROSINE

Tyrosine is one of the 22 essential amino acids used for the creation of proteins. It is actually the most important chemical for the dopamine production of dopamine.

Recommended: Three Habits to Use on Your Body to Get Rid of Negative Emotions

Besides dopamine, it also has the potential to elevate norepinephrine levels. In order to raise its levels in the body, you should consume green tea, watermelon, almonds, bananas, avocados, and dark chocolate.

5. MUSIC

Dopamine levels are also increased through listening to music, even though it may be short-term. Therefore, use music as a common way to raise dopamine levels. And by the way playing an instrument makes you smarter (science reveals).

6. ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE

The levels of dopamine are raised in the case of organized small daily tasks, even though they are hard at times. You should write your tasks down on a piece of paper, and check them off. In this way, you will be satisfied as you note that you finish them one by one.

The Principles of Self-Management state that if a task represents a change of 25% (or bigger change) in the routine, you will feel unable to finish it, and often ends up with a self-sabotage or giving up.

If the task changes 10% of your routine, you will succeed to complete it, as you will believe it is small. Therefore, balance tasks to be 10 and 25% of new behaviors, in order to try new and challenging things, but still not too difficult to complete.

7. CREATIVITY

The levels of dopamine in the brain are also elevated with a creative activity. This will also keep you focused. You do not need to become a world-known artist but try dancing, singing, writing, sculpturing, painting, drawing, cooking, knitting, making crafts, and auto repair, and you will feel much better right away.

8. GET A STREAK GOING

In this sense, “streak” will mean a visual reminder of the number of times in a row you do something. This is similar to organizing the tasks, and accomplishing them.

This will raise the levels of dopamine, and make you happier and satisfied. You should use a calendar, written your goals, and plan when to complete them. As soon as you finish the task, mark it off on your calendar. Yet, the drawback of the ‘streak’ is routine, so you should find a way to enhance the performance.

9. SUPPLEMENTATION

Dopamine levels can also be raised through supplementation, such as:

Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, effectively increases dopamine in the brain.
Ginkgo Biloba has a potential to raise dopamine levels as well.
Acetyl-l-tyrosine is a building block of dopamine, so a healthy dose of it supports the production of dopamine in the brain.
L-theanine increases numerous neurotransmitters in the brain, including dopamine. Green tea is a rich source of l-theanine.
Note: consult a doctor before using any of the above

10. MEDITATION

Meditation raises the levels of dopamine in a different way that cardio exercises. It improves your mood, creates mental energy, and relaxes the mind. Meditation is an efficient way to reduce stress on a daily basis. Harvard MRI studies proved that meditation literally rebuilds your brain gray matter in 8 weeks!

Spiritual Fasting - A Secret Source of Power

"The difference between dieting and spiritual fasting is that while you are engaged in spiritual fasting, and are abstaining from food, you are focusing your thoughts on that which is eternal within you.

By directing your attention to that which is eternal within you, through meditation, chanting, heartfelt prayer or by repeating spiritual affirmations throughout the day, you will discover that you can go for a long time without food and still not feel hungry, because you will be absorbing the energy directly through breathing and through the energy center on top of your head.

When you focus your attention on that which is eternal within you, you may experience a sensation of electricity running through your body, because you will literally plug yourself into an ocean of boundless living energy and power.

We Live in an Ocean of Boundless, Living Energy and Power

We live in an ocean of boundless, living energy and power – in an ocean of boundless life-force. Energy flows where attention goes, so as you direct your attention to it you open yourself up and allow this boundless living energy and power to flow through you.

You should listen to your body when you fast and you should prepare your mind and body for the fast. If you regularly engage in some kind of spiritual practice, you will find it much more enjoyable and effortless to fast.

How to Perform Spiritual Fasting

If you have never fasted before, you may begin fasting just for 24 hours. If you want to go on longer fasts, you may prepare your body by eating light food for a while. You may then try fasting for 5 or 10 days on liquids – fruit or vegetable juices, even clear broth, or you may try fasting on water alone and see how long you can do that while feeling reasonably comfortable. Slowly you can work your way up to 40 day fasts or even longer.

If you keep on fasting frequently, you will develop a habit of fasting and you will also discover that you can fast longer and longer with greater and greater comfort and enjoyment.

Recommended: Which diet is right for spiritual growth?

When you complete your fast and return to eating food, do so gradually. Begin with soups, raw or steamed vegetables or fruits and light salads. Let your body adjust to digesting food again.

Not only will you fast longer and longer with greater and greater comfort, but you may enjoy it more and more as you experience the spiritual high and all kinds of benefits that will emerge spontaneously from fasting.

You can fast for a particular purpose, for healing, abundance, supernatural abilities, for any other specific blessing, or simply because you enjoy the depth of spiritual awareness you experience while you are fasting.

One side effect of that deepened spiritual awareness is that you will open yourself to information that was not available to you before. You will begin to clearly hear the voice of the Spirit within you.

As you remove the obstacles that are clouding your awareness of the Spirit within you, your Inner Light will begin to shine brighter and brighter and you will begin to notice more and more Light radiating through your eyes.

You will begin to experience greater and greater sense of profound inner peace and whatever you may want to manifest in your life will begin to manifest faster and faster simply because you have removed the obstacles from within you.

7 Signs Of High Emotional Intelligence

"1.) You don’t do negative self-talk.

I think it can be said that we all do it sometimes. We get down on ourselves and feel uncomfortable with our decisions, so we treat ourselves poorly. This is something emotionally intelligent people don’t do.

2.) You don’t limit your joy.

Emotionally intelligent people don’t allow anyone to take their joy away. They live life as fully as they want.

3.) You listen to your body.

Emotionally intelligent people listen to their bodies. They eat the right food and get enough sleep.

4.) You disconnect from time to time.

At least for me, being connected via cell phones and internet all the time is a serious downer. Don’t be afraid to shut off the phone for a few hours and enjoy your day.

5.) You appreciate the things you have.

You don’t covet the possessions of others. The bar for happiness is not raised or lowered by other people, but by you. You don’t need to see what your friends and neighbors have and strive for that. Strive for what you want in life.

6.) You boot toxic people from your life.

The worst people are toxic people. They enter our lives, tell us we can’t, take all of our time and energy, and leave us with nothing. Emotionally intelligent people don’t have time for toxic friends.

7.) You let go of the bad.

Emotionally intelligent people have no time to carry around baggage. It weighs us down and weakens our sensibilities. Let go of mistakes. Let go of grudges. Let go of all the bad stuff that weighs you down.

Be inspired with the poem "Desiderata" to keep your practical peace within!

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.” - Max Ehrmann, "Desiderata"

10 Signs To Make You Understand If You Have Found Your Mission

"1.) You will realize that you are preparing for your call from the moment you were born

Even the pungent aspects of life, disappointments, regrets, things gone downhill were preparing you for what you’ve been called to do now. You will realize that divorce, bankruptcy, death of the loved one, failure, rejection, were all just a school that taught you the lessons that your soul needed to learn, to be what you are meant to be.

2.) Mystical things begin to happen

You might be tempted to define them as coincidences, just that they are too perfect, too correspondent to what you need at that specific time, too similar to ‘miracles’ to call them random events. Synchronization will fill you with a sense of wonder, because they are proof positive that you are guided and you are not alone, that someone is ‘moving mountains’ to ensure that your mission will succeed.

3.) When you go off course, you will be redirected

Doors you wanted to cross will be closed. If you take the wrong turn in the road, your path will be full of barbed wire. The trip will become an implacable struggle, a deal will failure, the money will run out. The mentor that supplied you with the magic gifts will follow you no more in the wrong way. People will not cooperate. Then you will ‘magically’ be redirected, just like during your initial call.

4.) You’ll be guided with ease, even in the face of obstacles

When you find yourself in difficulty in overcoming an obstacle, it can be hard to understand if you’re only testing your commitment or if you’re going off course. The obstacles can be part of the growth process, the construction of your inner hero, a necessary part of your trip as a hero. But they can also be signs that inform you that you have taken a wrong turn. How to tell the difference?

The indicator you can trust, it’s a sense of sliding towards greater ease and fluidity. If the challenges are increasing and they are putting things worse, a tough fight overlaps the other, then you’re probably been taken away from your true calling. The universe is patiently waiting, turning the divine inches. When you’re back on the right track, things will start to flow again.

5.) Magical mentors will appear at the right time

Just when you need them more, the right people will appear, with the necessary tools to support you and your trip to this mystical path.

6.) Your health will improve

A strange but pleasing ‘side effect’ of finding your calling, will be your improved health.
You’ll notice less craving for unhealthy food, you’ll have more energy to move your body, aches and pains that plague may disappear, you will feel less tired, chronic diseases may begin to improve.

7.) You may find that the money comes only when you are ready to throw in the towel

I’m not saying do not end up into debt or do not find yourself with an empty bank account. But if you’re on the right track, you do not end up living under a bridge, and you’ll see that the money almost magically appear just when you’re ready to throw in the towel and leave it all behind.

8.) You may feel strangely calm, even when there are reasons to be concerned

All around you will think you’re crazy. A part of you will agree with them. But a wise inner consciousness, that part of you that I call your interior ‘Pilot Light’ will be so relieved that you’re finally on your way towards your goal, that you’ll feel unusually calm. At least as long as your rational mind will not start giving you a hard time.

Our souls want to lead us towards our personal mission on this earth, and when we finally align with our calling, our happy souls do a little dance. It may appear as if everything in our life is falling apart, but you still have this sense of peace, a huge relief, because finally you will know what you are meant to do.

9.) The universe will stretch out the red carpet

When what you’ve been called to do, is what is necessary for the greater good of all mankind, the Universe will bend over backwards to give you everything you need, served on a silver platter. No request is too small. A copywriter could voluntarily help just when you were thinking of writing a sales page. Some might give you a printer when you will need to print flyers.

You will feel well supported, you’ll feel so lucky to be on the right track even if you are not very sure about what you need to do.

10.) Your people will find you

Few can accomplish alone the call. Many of us need the cooperation of others to change the world. But do not worry. When you are really proactive, your people will find you. But only if you’re brave enough to be vulnerable, to get in the game, to be what you have been called to be!
